How to find and defeat Ghorm the Devourer in Core Keeper

After barely surpassing the first hours of exploration in Core Keeper, players will encounter Ghorm, the second zone boss that must be defeated to activate the core. In this guide, we will detail how to locate him and defeat him easily, especially considering that you have just begun your adventure.

How to Find and Defeat Ghorm in Core Keeper

Similar to the first boss, Ghorm is not difficult to find at all. He roams around the area you explore, making him quite noticeable. Ghorm does not stay in one place; instead, he walks in a circle around the entire first biome. You will recognize the area easily, as it will be filled with slime and spacious enough for him to move around.

Once you locate him, it is advisable to clear the area with a hoe as much as possible to avoid being slowed down during the battle. However, keep the hoe in your inventory just in case. For equipment, it’s best to wear bronze armor, bring a slingshot, and have 100 bronze bars ready to craft 100 ground traps.

During the battle, you must keep moving constantly, as Ghorm’s only “attack” is to chase you relentlessly. To defeat him, lead him over the traps while shooting him with the slingshot. If you feel more skilled with a bow or in melee combat, feel free to use those instead.
