How to get Maractus, Corsola, Heatmor, Durant and other regional Pokémon during Go Fest 2024 in Pokémon Go
Maractus, Corsola, Heatmor, Durant, Volbeat, Illumise, Solrock, and Lunatone are all appearing globally during Pokémon Go Fest 2024. These regionally exclusive Pokémon are usually only found in specific locations around the world, making this event a perfect opportunity for trainers to complete their Pokédex.
Missing any of these Pokémon? This is your chance to catch them. If you miss out now, you may have to wait for another special occasion like a Community Day to encounter them again.
How to Catch Maractus During Go Fest 2024
Maractus, Pokémon 556, is a Grass-type Pokémon typically found in South America, including regions such as the Caribbean, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic. However, it is a rare spawn, making it difficult to find even in its native habitat.
To catch Maractus during Go Fest 2024, you must first purchase a ticket. This event has removed the region lock and now requires a fee. Once you have the ticket, activate an Incense during the event hours, specifically during the Dawn Meadow habitat hours. The other Pokémon that may spawn from Incense during this time include Unown (A, D, G, H, I, N, T, and Y), Day Scarf Espeon, and Night Scarf Umbreon.
Maractus will also spawn in the wild on the second day of Go Fest. However, you may find it easier to catch during its designated habitat hour, when fewer Pokémon will be spawning. Additionally, you can earn a Maractus encounter by completing quest step 3 of the Go Fest 2024 quest.
How to Catch Corsola During Go Fest 2024
Corsola, Pokémon 222, is a Water/Rock-type Pokémon usually found in tropical regions near coastlines. Its spawning locations include various countries in Africa, Asia, Northern Australia, the Middle East, and South America, though it remains a rare find.
Similar to Maractus, to catch Corsola during Go Fest 2024, you need to purchase a ticket. Once you have your ticket, activate an Incense during the Shining Day habitat hours. Like Maractus, Corsola will also appear in the wild on the second day of the event and will be easier to find during its specific habitat hour.
Ticket holders can also secure a Corsola encounter by completing the ‘Earn 8,020 Stardust’ challenge in quest step 4 of the Go Fest 2024 quest. Shiny Corsola has been available since February 2022, so keep an eye out for this rare variant!
How to Catch Heatmor and Durant During Go Fest 2024
Heatmor, Pokémon 631, is a Fire-type Pokémon, while Durant, Pokémon 632, is a Bug/Steel-type. Heatmor is typically found in Europe, Asia, and Australasia, whereas Durant is exclusive to Africa, the Middle East, and both North and South America.
To catch Heatmor and Durant during Go Fest 2024, no ticket purchase is needed! Simply attend during their respective habitat hours. Heatmor will be available during the Dawn Meadow hour, and Durant will appear during the Creeping Dusk hour. Each will be easier to find during these specific times.
Shiny variants of both Heatmor and Durant have been available since July 2020, but their designs are not particularly exciting, making them less desirable for competitive play.
How to Catch Volbeat and Illumise During Go Fest 2024
Volbeat, Pokémon 313, and Illumise, Pokémon 314, are Bug-type Pokémon originating from the Hoenn region. Volbeat typically spawns in Europe, Asia, and Australasia, while Illumise is found in Africa and the Americas.
To catch Volbeat and Illumise during Go Fest 2024, you do not need to purchase a ticket. Both Pokémon will spawn during the Creeping Dusk hour, making it a prime time to catch them. They will appear alongside other Pokémon such as Moon Crown Pikachu, Gible, and Emolga.
Shiny Volbeat and Illumise have been available since April 2021, featuring distinct color changes that make them more appealing to collectors, though they are not particularly strong in competitive play.
How to Catch Lunatone and Solrock During Go Fest 2024
Lunatone, Pokémon 337, and Solrock, Pokémon 338, are both Rock/Psychic-type Pokémon that are typically regional exclusives. Lunatone is usually found due East of Greenwich, while Solrock is found due West. However, they are often available during special events like Go Fest.
No ticket is required to catch Lunatone and Solrock during Go Fest 2024. Lunatone will be available during the Darkest Night hour, while Solrock can be found during the Shining Day hour. Their specific hour will allow for easier captures amid a smaller pool of spawning Pokémon.
Shiny versions of Lunatone and Solrock have been available since March 2019. While their shiny forms have some distinct characteristics, they are not competitive picks in the Go Battle League.
Good luck adding Maractus, Corsola, and the other regional Pokémon to your collection during Go Fest 2024!
