How to Evolve Poipole into Naganadel in Pokémon Go

To evolve Poipole into Naganadel, players must catch 20 Dragon-type Pokémon while Poipole is set as their buddy and then use 200 Poipole Candy.

Completing the World of Wonders special research quest will provide enough Poipole to facilitate this evolution, with some candy left over for powering up either Poipole or Naganadel.

This evolution was introduced with Step 5 of the World of Wonders quest, meaning players had to wait for this step to access the evolution feature and determine which Poipole they wanted to evolve.

Interestingly, Poipole stands out as the only Ultra Beast capable of evolving, changing from a simple Poison-type to a dual Poison and Dragon-type Pokémon. This evolution provides Naganadel with an advantage against Fairy-types, which typically deal strong damage to Dragon-types but are weak to Poison-types.
