World of Wonders marks the fourteenth game-wide season of Pokémon Go. This season, officially titled the Season of World of Wonders, introduces new features, Pokémon, and events for trainers to enjoy.

Throughout this season, players can engage in the World of Wonders Special Research quest, which allows them to add Poipole, a new Ultra Beast, to their Pokémon collection. As usual, this season will feature a rotation of events and the introduction of additional Pokémon as well.

Pokémon Go World of Wonders End Date

The World of Wonders season commenced on March 1st at 10 AM local time and will conclude on June 1st at 10 AM local time. During this timeframe, Season 18 of the Go Battle League will run, including the three usual leagues and a variety of special cups.

World of Wonders Bonuses

This season introduces several raid-themed bonuses. First, players can earn one additional free Raid Pass per day by spinning Gyms. The XP gained from one and three-star raids, including Shadow Raids, has also been amplified during this event. Additionally, if players participate in a raid with Friends, the damage dealt by their Pokémon will be increased.

The Research Breakthrough encounter rewards have been updated for this season. From March 1st to June 1st, trainers can encounter various Pokémon including Hisuian Sneasel, Furfrou, Goomy, Sandygast, Jangmo-o, and Dubwool.

World of Wonders Roadmap

The World of Wonders season kicks off with a new season-long Special Research quest leading to the capture of Poipole, one of the Ultra Beasts. However, players will need to complete challenges released in sets throughout the season to ultimately catch it.

To unlock the quest for Poipole, players must log into Pokémon Go at least once between March 1st and June 1st. The quest can be completed even after the season concludes, as long as it has been unlocked.

In addition to Poipole, the season will introduce new Pokémon, including Charcadet, Armarouge, and Ceruledge. The first event of the season is Charged-Up Research Day, taking place on March 3rd, featuring Electric-type Pokémon and event-exclusive field research tasks.
