Pokémon Go Hisuian Pokémon forms list

Hisuian Pokémon, including Hisuian Voltorb, Hisuian Electrode, and Hisuian Typhlosion, can now be caught in Pokémon Go. These Pokémon represent regional variants of earlier generations and include both unique forms and new evolutions for certain species like Scyther and Stantler.

The first Hisuian variant introduced in Pokémon Go was Hisuian Voltorb, which debuted during a celebration event for the launch of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, a game for the Nintendo Switch.

Understanding Hisuian Pokémon in Pokémon Go

Hisuian Pokémon, similar to the Alolan and Galarian variants, are distinct regional forms that differ in appearance and stats from their original counterparts. They made their initial appearance in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, where players explore the Hisui region—a precursor to the Sinnoh region.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, certain Hisuian Pokémon can only be obtained through specific evolution processes involving Pokémon from earlier generations, such as evolving Stantler into Wyrdeer. As of now, only two Hisuian Pokémon have been released in Pokémon Go, so it remains to be seen how these evolution requirements will be adapted for mobile gameplay.

In Pokémon Go, Hisuian Pokémon are treated as different Forms, akin to how Burmy has various appearances based on its environment. Fortunately, Hisuian Pokémon share the same candy as their traditional forms, allowing players to evolve a Hisuian Voltorb using the same candy needed for Kanto Voltorb.

Here are some Hisuian Pokémon that are currently available in the game:
