Zelda Echoes of Wisdom A Curious Child walkthrough

In the quest ‘A Curious Child‘ in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, players need to collect and present three distinct types of Zol Echoes to a child located in Hyrule Castle Town. This guide will help speed you through the quest so you can continue your adventure with Link.

We will cover how to initiate the quest, provide a detailed walkthrough, and outline the rewards you can earn upon completion.

How to Start A Curious Child

To begin the ‘A Curious Child’ side quest, find the child near the dog in the southwestern section of Hyrule Castle Town. Look for the speech bubble that reads “Zols, Zols, Zols” above them to identify the correct child.

A Curious Child Walkthrough

This quest consists of three main parts, where you must present different Zol Echoes to the child: a Zol Echo, an Ignizol Echo, and finally a Hydrozol Echo. Additionally, to complete the quest, you will need to enlarge the Hydrozol Echo.

Finding Zol

Zols are small, green slime-like creatures. You can find your first Zol at Suthorn Beach, shortly after escaping Hyrule Castle.

Finding Ignizol

Ignizols are white slimes with flames on their heads. The first Ignizol can be located in the southern cave of Suthorn Forest.

Finding Hydrozol

Hydrozols are translucent blue slimes. You can find your first Hydrozol at the entrance to the Faron Wetlands.

How to Make a Hydrozol Bigger

The child in Hyrule Castle Town requests a larger version of the Hydrozol. To achieve this, use your Hydrozol Echo on a Water Block Echo to enlarge it. You can learn the Water Block Echo within the Stilled Jabul Waters.

A Curious Child Rewards

Completing the ‘A Curious Child’ quest rewards you with one Might Crystal. Might Crystals can be used at Lueburry’s home to enhance Zelda’s Swordfighter Form.
