All the side quests in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and how to complete them

As has been the case with the latest major open-world releases in the Zelda series, the new and charming The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom for Nintendo Switch also features a good number of side quests for those adventurous players who want to entertain themselves completing optional tasks throughout the kingdom of Hyrule. These quests not only extend the lifespan of the game but are also very interesting for gaining valuable rewards and obtaining various collectibles.

Given that there is a high number of side quests, and they may have specific activation requirements or generate doubts about how to complete them, this guide will show you where to activate each of the side quests in the game, what to do in each case to complete them correctly, and what types of rewards they offer.

The Flying Plant

• Location: at the entrance of Sudelia Village, next to the house on the left (available only after completing the Ruins of Sudelia, the first dungeon)
• Reward: 1 piece of Powerilio.

Next to the entrance of this house, you can speak with an elderly man who tells a story about a flying plant he once saw in the Sudelia Forest and wishes to see again. To complete the quest, you need to create in front of the elder a copy of a Peahat echo, which is the flying plant he refers to. You can find this echo inside a cave south of the entrance to the Ruins of Sudelia.

The Blocked Path

• Location: in the Sudelia Prairie, northwest of Luebery’s house
• Reward: 20 rupees

In the area indicated, you will find a narrow path that is blocked by boxes and stones, next to the man who gives you this quest. The NPC wants to clear the obstacles from the path, but he cannot.

However, you can do it using the binding power of the Cetro de Tri. Use the binding with the X button and move the stones and boxes out of the way to clear the path. It’s straightforward.

Cornered

• Location: in the Sudelia Prairie, north of Luebery’s house
• Reward: 20 rupees

In the area shown, you will find a man on top of a wall being attacked by a couple of moblins with spears. You need to defeat them to rescue the man and complete the quest. Use any of your monster echoes to take down the enemies without much difficulty.

The Missing Mare

• Location: at Hyrule Ranch
• Reward: unlocks the ability to rent horses for use as mounts
