Dynamax Battles
Starting this month, Pokémon GO introduces ‘Max Battles,’ which are tied to the Dynamax phenomenon. Players will discover energy sources around the world, resembling raids, where they can encounter and capture the following Dynamax Pokémon:
- Dynamax Bulbasaur (shiny)
- Dynamax Charmander (shiny)
- Dynamax Squirtle (shiny)
- Dynamax Skwovet (shiny)
- Dynamax Wooloo (shiny)
This selection of Dynamax Pokémon will be available until the end of the month, after which the list may rotate to include new options.
Mega Raids
Mega Raids are reserved for Pokémon that can undergo Mega Evolutions. In these raids, players can earn Mega Energy specific to the Pokémon they are battling. The quicker the raid is completed, the more Mega Energy players can earn. These raids are indicated by a brown egg, and while players can’t capture the Mega Pokémon itself, they can catch its regular form.
Available Pokémon in Mega Raids include:
- Mega-Salamence (shiny)
- Mega Absol (shiny)
- Mega Houndoom (shiny)
- Mega Gardevoir (shiny)
As always, the raid bosses will change frequently, so keep an eye on the events to maximize your chances of capturing these powerful Pokémon!
