Unaccounted for in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

Unaccounted for is one of the main quests in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. This mission becomes available in your journal after completing the quest After the Vanished, which itself requires you to finish the quests The Desert Gap and The Marshes Gap. In this guide, we will walk you through the objectives and how to complete them so you can progress without getting stuck.

How to Complete the Unaccounted For Quest

The quest begins with the objective to return to Luebery’s house. Head over there, and after talking to the characters, you will be instructed to go to the south entrance of Hyrule Citadel. Upon arriving, an important cutscene will unfold.

Once you regain control, defeat the enemies you encounter and proceed down the left street until you reach a well that you can jump into. Inside this well, you will find an access point to the empty area of Hyrule Citadel.

Continue along the only available path, taking out any enemies that appear until you reach a plaza with a fountain that features the Triforce symbol. Further ahead, there is a teleportation point, and you can enter the water block to ascend a short distance. From there, jump onto the trees and continue ascending using another water block.

This will lead you directly to the entrance of the dungeon located in Hyrule Castle.

After completing the dungeon, you will find yourself in Zelda’s chambers. Simply head towards the throne room to receive new objectives: the quest The Goddesses’ Gaps, which will be divided into three distinct regions, and Rescue Link, the Hero, which cannot be completed until much later. Additionally, you will earn the Royal Travel Outfit for Zelda. From this point on, new side quests will also be unlocked across the world, which you may find interesting to pursue.
