Completing Silent Hill 2 Remake involves uncovering a series of collectibles scattered throughout the game world. These collectibles are not key items, but rather objects that provide context and lore about the Silent Hill universe. In this guide, we will outline the locations of the notes you can find as you progress through the story.

The notes consist of various documents, diaries, and pages that offer deeper insight into the eerie happenings of Silent Hill. Here’s where to find them as you navigate through the game.

Locations of Notes

Carta de Mary

This is one of the two initial items in your inventory at the start of the game during the Prologue. While technically not counted as a note, we include it here for your reference.

Foto de Mary

Similar to the previous item, this photo is also in your starting inventory during the Prologue. Again, it’s not officially a note, but it’s relevant for context.

Mensaje de la floristería

You can find this note right at the beginning of the Streets of Silent Hill. Head to the flower shop located at the bottom right corner of the map.

Once inside, move towards the back to the counter where the document is laid out on the table.

Caja de cerillas

This note is located during your exploration of the Streets of Silent Hill. It can be found on a corpse lying in the middle of the street, making it hard to miss.

Nota de la calle Martin

This note is found immediately after the previous location, lying on the ground in the same area.

Nota de la cafetería Big Jay

After collecting the last note, you will return to the streets. Head west to the intersection of Neely and Katz. You’ll find Big Jay, a café with its main door open. Enter, and the note will be on a table.

From the intersection of Neely and Katz, head north to Groovy Music, a record store visible on the map. Inside, check the counter on your left for the note.

This item is located at the entrance of Wood Side Apartments, situated to the west of Neely and Katz. Look to the left of the building’s door to find the brochure.

Nota de la barrera

To find this note, move west along Katz Street until you encounter a barricade. The note is on the ground next to a body.

Nota con código

During your exploration, head south on Neely and east on Sanders. Look for a truck in the southern part of the street.

Check beside the truck for a corpse that holds the note.

This note is located right next to the previous one, on the opposite side of the corpse near the truck.

Mapa antiguo

To find the ancient map, proceed west along Saul Street until you reach the intersection with two blocked exits. You will find a body with the map next to it.

Follow the blood trail from the last note towards the caravan to discover this note near the fence.

This note is located a little closer to the caravan, just a few meters from the previous note along the blood trail.

The final note in this collection can be found inside the caravan that you reach following the previous notes.

Nota pequeña

This note is available during your time in the Apartments on Saul Street, located in the southern part of the map.

You can enter the building from the sidewalk. Once in the ground floor hallway, head straight and look to your right to find a door blocked by furniture. Push it aside to gain access to the concierge’s booth, where the note rests on the window’s table.

Nota de un inquilino

Also found in the Apartments on Saul Street, this note requires you to go upstairs from the previous location. Upon reaching the top, look to your right to find an open vent at floor level that you can crawl through.

The document is located on the table in the apartment.

Nota del bar Neely

During your exploration in the Streets of Silent Hill, you will find this note inside the bar Neely, situated on the bar counter.

Carta de la trastienda

This note is also in the bar Neely. After obtaining the key to the bar, open the door next to the counter, push the cart to the right, and cross through the vent. The note can be found on the desk in the back room.
