ALL glimpses in Silent Hill 2 Remake and localization

Completing Silent Hill 2 Remake involves discovering a variety of collectibles scattered throughout the game. These items are not just key objects but rather elements that enhance the context and lore of the Silent Hill universe. In this guide, we will detail the locations of all the glimpses, which are special collectibles that can be obtained by interacting with specific elements in the environment.

When you interact with a glimpse, you’ll hear a distinct sound, indicating that you have successfully engaged with the item.

Glimpse #1

This glimpse can be found at the blocked tunnel during the Prologue. After using the workshop key to cross the red metal wall, proceed a bit forward to find the blocked tunnel entrance with a rusty gate and wooden fence.

Approach the tunnel to examine the boards and collect the glimpse.

Glimpse #2

You can obtain this glimpse while exploring the streets of Silent Hill. Move through the streets until you trigger the sequence with the first monster. Instead of following it, turn east at the intersection leading to Vachss Road.

Go to the end and examine the gate with the DO NOT ENTER sign to collect the glimpse.

Glimpse #3

This glimpse is located during your time on the streets of Silent Hill. It can be found next to the fence after leaving the house with the first monster. As soon as you cross the wooden fence, look to your right towards the corner of the enclosure.

Approach and examine the blood stain to unlock the glimpse.

Glimpse #4

This glimpse is found while navigating the streets of Silent Hill. Keep moving until you reach the entrance of the Wood Side Apartments.

Once there, look to the left of the main entrance, right next to the door.

There is a blue container you can examine to collect the glimpse.

Glimpse #5

This glimpse is also located in the streets of Silent Hill and is found directly west of the previous glimpse. Head to the far west end of Katz Street, where you’ll encounter a blockage.

If you approach the fabric past the corpse with the note, you’ll notice an interactive point that will allow you to collect the glimpse.
