As you begin your journey in the eerie world of Silent Hill 2, you’ll soon face the clock puzzle. This challenge requires you to solve various riddles to collect the clock hands needed for your escape from the apartments. This guide will help you navigate the puzzle found in the moth room, where you’ll locate the second hand.

Unlocking the Moth Room

The combination to unlock the moth room depends on the difficulty setting you’ve chosen. To figure out the correct code, you’ll need to count the symbols on each moth and organize them by type. Additionally, don’t forget to account for the moths that are split in half: for example, a whole moth with circles counts as two, while a half moth counts as just one.

After tallying all the moths, including the two hidden in a secret area, adjust the numbers according to the drawing on the lock to gain access.

Completing the Moth Puzzle

If you want to bypass the exploration or if you’re finding the puzzle tricky, here are the three combinations you can use based on the difficulty level:
