How to unlock Piccolo’s Sparking episode in Dragon Ball Sparking!

Piccolo is a central character in the combat mode of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, which serves as the story mode for the spiritual successor to the Budokai Tenkaichi series. This game enables players to delve into alternative paths and non-canonical events from the anime and manga through features called Sparking episodes.

This guide will provide you with all the necessary requirements, conditions, and steps to unlock the secondary routes in Piccolo’s storyline.

Piccolo has one Sparking episode available, named “The Teaching of a Mentor.” You can access it during the Android and Cell Saga, specifically in Chapter 3.

Unlocking this episode is relatively simple:

First, progress through Piccolo’s story until you reach the phase called “Little Worry.”
In this phase, you will be faced with a choice between two options.
To access the alternate route, select the dialogue option “Help Son Goku.”
Avoid choosing the option “Continue Observing the Fight,” as that will steer you toward the canonical storyline.
