ALL Evanuri altars in Dragon Age: The Veilguard

The Evanuri altars play an essential role in your adventure within Dragon Age: The Veilguard. These enigmatic statues are placed across various locations, each presenting distinct challenges and rewards. Interacting with these altars triggers beams of light that point toward specific targets which can be destroyed using ranged attacks. Successfully taking out these targets grants your character a permanent increase of +100 Health, making this effort worthwhile. Below is a comprehensive guide to the locations of all the Evanuri altars.

Evanuri Altars in the Crossroads

Within the area known as the Crossroads, you will find four Evanuri altars.

Evanuri Altar #1

This altar is located southeast of the starting dock. You will come across it while on the quest “A Strange Feeling.” Keep an eye out for it as you explore the area.

Evanuri Altar #2

Situated in the Peaks of Athim, the northeast section of the Crossroads, this altar becomes available during the mission “The Best Friend of a Guard.” Upon reaching the area, head southeast toward the altar of Fen’Harel and use the cabin ladder to access the altar on a wooden platform.

Evanuri Altar #3

This altar can be found behind the Gate of Lost Eras. You will uncover its essence while working on the first altar of Fen’Harel in the nearby port city. Inside a rift, there is a corruption cyst concealing the essence you need.

Evanuri Altar #4

The last altar in the Crossroads is located in the Gate of Faded Glory. The essence for this altar can be found near “Lost Treasure: Bastion Touched by the Veil.” To reach the altar, position the statues along the eastern path and the central area so they face each other, which will reveal a bridge leading to your objective.

Evanuri Altars in the Forest of Arlathan

In the enchanting Forest of Arlathan, there are seven Evanuri altars.

Evanuri Altar #1

The first altar is located northeast of the Explorers of the Veil camp, in a clearing. Simply ascend the slope to reach it and destroy the targets for your health upgrade.

Evanuri Altar #2

This altar can be found in the northeast section of the forest, right along the riverbank. It is clearly visible and easy to access.

Evanuri Altar #3

Located in the far northeastern part of the forest, you can reach this altar during the quest “How to Train a Griffin.” Its prominent placement makes it easy to spot.

Evanuri Altar #4

The fourth altar is positioned north of the mission “How to Train a Griffin”. Follow the northeast path from the mission beacon before turning northwest to find it.

Evanuri Altars in Port City

In Port City, there is one Evanuri altar.

Evanuri Altar #1

This altar can be found while undertaking the quest “Cornered in the Catacombs.” You will easily spot it as you progress through the area after accepting the mission.

Evanuri Altars in the Coast of Rivain

In the beautiful region of the Coast of Rivain, you will find three Evanuri altars.

Evanuri Altar #1

The first altar is located on the high ground of the beach, accessible during an early side mission, “For Gold and Glory.” Head to the northwest corner of the area to find the altar hidden away.

Evanuri Altar #2

This altar is situated in the northeast corner of the Coast of Rivain. You will need to wait for the quest “Fire in the Sand” to activate before you can reach this altar.

Evanuri Altars in the Hossberg Swamps

Lastly, in the murky Hossberg Swamps, there are two Evanuri altars.

Evanuri Altar #1

To access this altar, you must begin the quest “An Academic Interest,” which leads you to the mansion of Gaspin in the southeastern part of the swamps. Once there, head to the southernmost point to enter the mansion, where the altar awaits.
