How to transform into Aetherella in CoD Black Ops 6 Zombies and have super powers
The supervillain Aetherella, also known as Eterella in certain areas, plays a key role in one of the most outrageous Easter eggs found in the Liberty Falls map of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies. You may be surprised to discover that by following a specific set of steps within this map, you can transform into Aetherella and temporarily wield her superpowers to unleash chaos on the undead. Curious about how to make this transformation happen?
This guide will provide you with all the necessary requirements and details to complete this Easter egg and, in the process, earn the “World Domination” trophy or achievement.
Requirements for Activating the Aetherella Easter Egg
To embark on your quest to become Aetherella in Liberty Falls, the first item you’ll need is the Thrustodyne M23 weapon, commonly referred to as the Jet Gun.
This robust weapon can either be randomly acquired by opening mystery boxes scattered throughout the map or crafted using three distinct parts that you can find during the main Easter egg quest in Liberty Falls. If you need assistance with this, we recommend consulting our comprehensive guide, which includes all the essential information.
You will also need to gain access to Olly’s Comics store in the village and a few other locations on the map. Don’t worry; this part is simple and will be explained further below.
Transforming into Aetherella and Gaining Superpowers
After securing the Thrustodyne M23, the next step to completing the Aetherella Easter egg and acquiring her powers is to absorb a total of nine Aetherella figures hidden throughout the map. Four of these figures are located within the comic book store, while the other five can be found in various spots around the village.
The Aetherella figures resemble the supervillain herself, dressed in her signature purple outfit, but are miniatures—almost like action figures. It’s important to note that these figures always remain in the same locations for each game, and you can absorb them in any order using the Thrustodyne M23.
Below are the locations for all nine Aetherella figures:
Figure of Aetherella #1
- Location: On a shelf inside the comic book store, next to a large statue of Aetherella.
Figure of Aetherella #2
- Location: On top of a box next to one of the entrance doors of the comic book store.
Figure of Aetherella #3
- Location: On a wooden shelf against one of the comic book store’s walls.
Figure of Aetherella #4
- Location: On the windowsill of the comic book store.
Figure of Aetherella #5
- Location: On the right side of the motel building; it’s located on the sign that reads “Motel.”
Figure of Aetherella #6
- Location: Directly below the “Liberty Lanes” sign on the bowling alley building, on a ledge over the street.
Figure of Aetherella #7
- Location: On top of a building roof next to the bank; to find it, unlock access to the roof of Yummy Freeze from the bank rooftop and drop down to discover the figure hidden among air conditioning units.
Figure of Aetherella #8
- Location: On the air conditioning unit on the side wall of the Lily’s Flowerpot flower shop, on the street leading up to the church.
Figure of Aetherella #9
- Location: In one of the stained glass windows of the church facade.
Once you have successfully located and absorbed all nine Aetherella figures, your character will automatically transform into Aetherella. For about one and a half minutes, you’ll gain the ability to shoot beams from your eyes that target the heads of zombies, inflicting devastating damage.
This transformation only affects the player who absorbed the Aetherella figures. If you’re playing in a team, other players will not undergo the transformation. Now you know how to unlock these intriguing superpowers in Liberty Falls!
