Terminus Secret Treasure in CoD Black Ops 6 Zombies: How to Find the Talisman

In the Terminus map of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies, players can embark on an intriguing Easter egg quest related to the character Captain Gregg. Completing this mission rewards you with a cursed talisman and the achievement/trophy known as “Treasure Hunter”. This guide will outline the steps and requirements needed to begin this exciting treasure hunt.

Prerequisites for Activating the Treasure Easter Egg in Terminus

Before starting your treasure hunt, you must fulfill certain requirements. The first task is to restore power to the facilities by activating three CME generators, which will also unlock the Pack-a-Punch machine found in the biological lab.

After you have completed this, the next step is to obtain the “Coffee with Milk” perk. This perk empowers your melee attack to deliver a stronger punch. You can acquire this perk in the biological lab on the lower walkway for 3500 essence.

Once you’ve met these prerequisites, head to the marine cave area. Locate a side wall near the “Quick Revive” machine that is illuminated by light filtering through the stalactites. Behind this wall, you will find a treasure map and a closed chest. To proceed, you must punch through this wall to initiate the Easter egg.

Steps to Complete the Treasure Hunt

The Easter egg consists of several objectives, which we will outline in order:

Finding the Captain’s Watch

After breaking through the wall, you’ll encounter the skeleton of Captain Gregg. He will assign you your first task: to retrieve an item from his past. The treasure map next to him marks a small island with a red “X”, located in the southeastern part of the map.

  • Head to the docks and acquire a boat to navigate to the indicated island.
  • Upon arrival, look for a shimmering golden object at the bottom of the water.
  • Dive down to retrieve a wristwatch labeled “Observe”.

Return to the captain in the marine caves and interact with him to hand over the watch. This will trigger the next objective.

Collecting the Three Cursed Coins

The captain will inform you that his crew once stole a set of coins he wishes to recover. Your second task is to visit three locations to find skeletons, summon their unique zombies, defeat them, and collect the cursed coins. These locations will be marked with an “X” on the captain’s map.

  • The locations to visit include Temple Island, Castle Island, and the Shipwreck.
  • Prior to starting, visit a crafting table to create three molotov cocktails.
  • If you haven’t reached level 32 to craft molotovs, you can find them as random drops by defeating zombies.
  • Use these molotovs to attack the captain’s crew skeletons.
  • Throwing them at each location will summon an elite zombie that you can defeat to collect its coin.
  • The skeleton locations are consistent in every game, allowing you to approach them in any order.

Be aware that while you carry the cursed coins, any damage taken will reduce your health, and it will not regenerate. Therefore, it’s best to complete this task when only one or two zombies remain in the round.

After collecting the coins, return to the captain and deposit them in the chest by interacting with him. In return, the captain will reward you with several legendary rarity weapons and give you your final objective for the Easter egg.

Obtaining the Cursed Talisman

Once you hand over the coins, a large island to the south of the map (Crab Island) will be marked with an “X”.

  • Sail towards this island and survive several waves of zombies upon arrival.
  • You must complete a total of three rounds on Crab Island (for instance, if you arrive at round 10, you’ll need to finish rounds 10, 11, and 12 there).
  • Once you have successfully survived the three rounds, a treasure chest will appear, glowing in gold.

This chest contains the final reward of the Easter egg: a cursed talisman. Picking it up grants you the ability to earn double points for the rest of the match, but be cautious; it is cursed, and you will gradually lose points when you take damage.
