How to Activate Dual Destiny Research

The primary requirement to access the Dual Destiny special research is simple:

• You need to have played Pokémon GO within specific dates (the exact dates will be listed in-game).

If you fulfill this requirement, you will receive a notification from Professor Willow soon, which will automatically activate the research in your journal, allowing you to complete it at your own pace.

Tasks and Rewards for Dual Destiny

Below, you can find the tasks and rewards for the Dual Destiny special research in Pokémon GO. This mission consists of a total of three phases, which will be unlocked over the duration of the ‘Dual Destinies’ Season:

Phase 1/3

• Catch 25 Pokémon: Reward: 25 Poké Balls.
• Spin 10 Photo Discs at PokéStops or Gyms: Reward: 10 Pinap Berries.
• Walk 3 km: Encounter with Snorlax.

Phase Rewards: 2500 XP and 2500 Stardust.

Phase 2/3

• Catch 50 Pokémon: Reward: 1 Lure Module.
• Collect 500 Max Particles: Reward: 2500 Stardust.
• Win a Max Battle: Reward: 1 Rare Candy.

Phase Rewards: 2500 XP and 2500 Stardust.

Phase 3/3

This phase of the research will become available at a later date during the season.

• Catch 25 Pokémon: Reward: 25 Ultra Balls.
• Hatch 3 Eggs: Reward: 2500 Stardust.
• Complete a specific number of field research tasks: Reward: 1 Golden Razz Berry.
