Path of Exile 2: How to get more spaces to create characters?

In Path of Exile 2, players can choose from a diverse range of classes, each providing a unique gameplay experience. As you delve into the game with different characters, it’s common to create multiple heroes. By default, you can have a maximum of 24 characters. However, if you reach this limit and want to create more, there is a way to increase your character slots, though it requires a financial investment.

Unlocking Additional Character Slots

In Path of Exile 2, you can obtain extra slots for character creation. Keep in mind that this option is not complimentary and involves spending real money.

Within the game’s microtransaction store, you can purchase an item called “Extra Character Slot.” This item enables you to expand the number of characters you can create.

Buying Extra Slots

You can find this item in the “Account Features” section of the store, and it costs 30 points. Remember that each purchase grants only one additional slot. To add more slots, you’ll need to spend more points for each additional slot you wish to acquire.

Other Options

If you prefer not to spend points on additional slots, which may be wiser to reserve for stash tabs instead, consider removing characters you no longer use. This method is simple and incurs no cost.

While deleting characters may not be the most convenient solution, it is effective. Before you delete any character, make sure to transfer all their items to your stash. These items can be retrieved later using another character, provided they belong to the same league. With a total of 24 default slots for characters in PoE 2, this limit is quite accommodating, allowing for the creation of up to two characters from each of the twelve available classes upon the game’s full release.
