Path of Exile 2: How to increase maximum inventory size?
In action RPGs that feature character inventory management, players often face the dilemma of what items to hold onto and what to discard. In Path of Exile 2, the inventory is not limitless, requiring players to make careful choices about their items. This leads to a common inquiry: Can you expand your inventory size? This article will provide a brief answer to that question.
How to Expand Inventory Space
Sadly, in Path of Exile 2, there are no options for increasing the inventory size of your character. Players begin with a fixed inventory space of 60 slots, organized into five rows containing twelve slots each.
This restriction cannot be altered in any manner. However, there is one specific situation for players opting for the Warrior class. This class has the unique ability to enhance inventory size through a specific mechanism.
To achieve this, players need to advance in the game until they complete the first ascendancy trial. By selecting the Titan ascendancy, players can unlock a passive skill node in the passive skill tree named “Colossal Capacity”, which adds an extra 20 slots to the inventory. It’s crucial to understand that this is a distinct benefit exclusive to the Titan Warrior; other classes do not have this option.
Purchasing Stash Tabs for Additional Storage
While the character’s inventory in Path of Exile 2 cannot be increased, players do have access to stash tabs located in the main towns and settlements. These stash tabs act as storage containers for items you wish to keep for later use.
Although stash tabs start with limited space, players can visit the microtransaction store and use real money to buy more stash tabs, thereby expanding their storage capacity. Keep in mind that this requires real money transactions, but it provides a way for players who want additional item storage to achieve that. Moreover, the store regularly updates its offers, and stash tabs can sometimes be available at discounted prices.
