CoD Black Ops 6: All the shelter puzzles and how to complete them (Solution)
The storyline of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 includes a sequence of missions set within a shelter called “The Tower.” Inside this refuge, players will encounter various puzzles that may be tricky without assistance. If you’re having difficulty with any of these challenges, this article offers detailed solutions to help you navigate through them effectively. There are a total of seven puzzles to solve, and while you can address them in any order, we suggest following the sequence provided here for an optimal experience.
Puzzle #1: Boiler Room
To tackle the first puzzle, head to the basement of the shelter. From the room featuring the mission board, take the corridor on the right and open the door at the end. This will lead you to the basement.
In the basement, you’ll find the boiler room, which requires activation through a specific series of actions. A note next to the boiler pilot offers hints about what to do. Follow these steps:
- First, turn the center valve (the one for the “Boiler”) twice.
- Next, turn the left valve (the “Fuel”) once.
- Then, press the right button (the “Pilot”); it should glow green.
- Finally, turn the center valve twice once more.
If executed correctly, the boiler will emit a sound, and the pilot light will blink green, indicating proper functionality. Activating the boiler will unlock a door elsewhere in the shelter, allowing you to progress to the next puzzles.
Puzzle #2: Piano Notes
The second puzzle features a grand piano located near the kitchen, to the left of the mission board room. As you approach the piano, you will find a UV flashlight on a nearby table. Pick it up and turn it on. Using the UV light, you can reveal a series of letters and numbers painted on the walls around the piano. There are five key markings:
- 1 – Mn
- 2 – Pe
- 3 – Cn
- 4 – Ao
- 5 – Pe
This “code” must be entered on the piano in the specified order. Interact with the piano, and using the UV light, you will see labels above each key corresponding to the letters. Play the notes in the order of their numbers (Mn, Pe, Cn, Ao, Pe) to complete this puzzle and open a secret door next to the piano.
Puzzle #3: Keypad Door
After completing the piano puzzle, you can access another part of the basement through the newly opened door. Proceed down the hallway until you reach a closed door with a numeric keypad. Interact with it to start this puzzle, which requires you to guess the code.
- The keypad code is random for each player and changes every five incorrect attempts.
- To find the code, use the UV light to illuminate the buttons with fingerprints and try different combinations.
- If a number lights up green, it is correct; yellow means it is in the code but in the wrong position, while red indicates it is not part of the code.
- A good strategy is to enter the most frequent fingerprint number five times (e.g., 1-1-1-1-1) to identify its position.
By following these steps, you should be able to unlock the keypad door.
Puzzle #4: Computer Password
For the fourth puzzle, enter the room accessed after solving the keypad puzzle. You will find a computer that requires you to crack a password.
- You need to figure out up to four different keywords to unlock it.
- These keywords remain the same for all players, but their order changes each time.
- Look at the numbers displayed on the screen; each corresponds to a letter at the bottom.
This puzzle is straightforward since the solution is provided on the computer screen itself—just match the numbers to their corresponding letters.
Puzzle #5: Lock Picking
The fifth puzzle is fairly simple. After entering the keywords on the computer, a door at the end of a hallway will open, leading to another locked door that you need to pick.
- To pick the lock, turn a pick until the right side lever is fully raised.
- When the controller vibrates and the lever is highlighted with a white border, hold it in that position until it locks in place.
- Repeat this for all levers to unlock the door.
Behind this door, you will find a key needed for the next puzzle.
Puzzle #6: Radio Signal and Numbers
The sixth puzzle also takes place in the basement. After retrieving the key from the previous puzzle, head down the other hallway where there is another locked door. Use the key to enter a room with a radio and various furniture.
Your first task is to tune the radio. This is done by adjusting two dials until both indicators turn green. Once tuned, a message will start repeating, mentioning several objects in a specific order. Pay close attention to this message and consider enabling subtitles for better clarity.
- The mentioned objects are located within the same room.
- Each object has a number associated with it that can be seen using the UV flashlight.
- Keep track of the numbers corresponding to the objects mentioned in the radio message, as they will form the code for the last puzzle.
The radio message is repetitive, providing ample time to solve this puzzle.
Puzzle #7: Safe Box
Finally, the seventh and last puzzle involves opening a safe located on the upper floor of the shelter. You can only access this safe after completing all previous puzzles.
Once you locate the safe, approach it and enter the digits of the password you derived from the previous puzzle. If you correctly noted the numbers from the radio message, you can now unlock the safe to receive a reward of 1,000 dollars, along with a knife blueprint and a trophy for solving all the puzzles in “The Tower.”
