Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth gets new patch to fix performance mode
Today, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has received a new patch intended to enhance its performance mode. This update comes after player feedback regarding the mode’s visual quality, which was often described as blurry.
The latest update aims to address these criticisms by improving the visual clarity within performance mode. According to the updated patch notes, players now have the choice between two visual settings: “sharp” and “soft.” Additionally, the patch includes enhancements to the overall graphics quality, frame rate, and stability of the game.
Players are hopeful that these adjustments will rectify the previously noted issues with “very scary” lighting effects on character faces.
In addition to graphical improvements, the patch includes features for the chocobo gliding minigame and pirate shooting minigame, now offering reverse camera settings for those who prefer inverted controls.
Other minor adjustments have also been made, such as correcting typos in the text, fixing smaller bugs, and providing better guidance during the ivy climbing segment in the Mithril Mine. This enhancement comes in response to reports of players getting stuck, despite discussions regarding the yellow paint.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth launched to critical acclaim, described by some as an “overstuffed but lovable re-imagining” of the original title.
Additionally, the game’s soundtrack is set to be released on 10th April, with some tracks already available for streaming.
