Genshin Impact Chiori materials, kit, and Constellations
Chiori is a 5-Star Geo character introduced in Genshin Impact during version 4.5. She currently appears as the featured 5-Star character in her Of Silken Clouds Woven Banner in version 5.1, but players can expect her return in future banners when the schedule cycles back to her.
To maximize Chiori’s potential, players will need to gather her Ascension materials and Talent materials to level her up effectively. Additionally, understanding Chiori’s kit and Constellations will help players make the most of her abilities.
Chiori’s Kit
Chiori is a 5-Star Geo character who wields a sword. She excels in a sub DPS role, especially when paired with other Geo characters that can summon Geo Constructs.
Here’s a summary of Chiori’s kit:
- Element: Geo
- Rarity: 5-Star
- Weapon: Sword
- Normal Attack: Weaving Blade
- Elemental Skill: Fluttering Hasode
- Elemental Burst: Hiyoku: Twin Blades
- Passive Talent 1: Tailor-Made – Chiori gains different effects depending on the next action taken after using Fluttering Hasode’s upward sweep. If she uses her Elemental Skill, she triggers the Tapestry effect; if she uses a normal attack, the Tailoring effect is triggered instead. If neither action is taken shortly after, the Tailoring effect activates by default.
- Tailoring: Grants Geo infusion for five seconds.
- Tapestry: Switches to the next character and grants all party members the ‘Seize the Moment’ effect, executing coordinated attacks with AOE Geo damage based on Fluttering Hasode’s damage.
- Passive Talent 2: The Finishing Touch – When a nearby party member creates a Geo Construct, Chiori gains a 20% Geo damage bonus for 20 seconds.
- Exploration Bonus: Brocaded Collar’s Beauteous Silhouette – Grants all party members a 10% increase in movement speed when wearing non-default outfits. This does not stack with other speed-boosting passive skills.
Normal Attack – Weaving Blade
Chiori performs up to four rapid hits with a normal attack. A charged attack consumes stamina to unleash two swift sword strikes, and a plunging attack deals AOE damage upon impact.
Elemental Skill – Fluttering Hasode
Chiori dashes forward, summoning the automaton doll, Tamoto, and performing an upward sweep to deal AOE Geo damage based on her attack and defense stats. Holding the Skill button allows players to aim the dash direction.
The summoned Tamoto attacks nearby opponents, dealing damage based on Chiori’s stats, and can summon an additional Tamoto if there are Geo Constructs nearby.
Elemental Burst – Hiyoku: Twin Blades
Chiori unleashes her twin blades, dealing AOE Geo damage based on her attack and defense stats.

Here are all of Chiori’s Constellations:

- In Five Colors Dyed (C2): Summons a simplified automaton doll, Kinu, for 10 seconds after using Hiyoku: Twin Blades, which will attack nearby opponents.
- Four Brocade Embellishments (C3): Increases the Level of Chiori’s Elemental Skill by three.
- A Tailor’s Three Courtesies (C4): Summons Kinu dolls upon triggering follow-up effects of the Tailor-Made passive talent.
