These enemies are found in the harsh environment of Yellow Wind Ridge, specifically in the Sandgate Village area after the Village Entrance shrine.

Before facing these two challenging foes, preparation is key. First, unlock the shortcut to the arena where the fight takes place. Upon your initial visit, you will find the main doorway closed and guarded. To open it, take the path to the right, defeat the enemies there, and then return to unlock the door. This step is crucial, as it saves time and effort during your attempts to defeat the bosses.

Once the path is clear, focus on strengthening your character. Spend Sparks to upgrade your Health or Stamina, or unlock new abilities for your stances. Crafting the Ebongold gear set is highly recommended, as it provides the strongest armor available at this stage of the game. This gear includes Burn Resistance, which is particularly useful when navigating this area. Additionally, prepare some medicine to boost your damage during the fight.

Strategies to Defeat the King and Second Prince of Flowing Sands

When the battle commences, both bosses will have their health bars displayed. The Second Prince will engage you directly with his massive mace-like weapon, while the King will attempt to attack from a distance by climbing pillars and throwing pots at you. The key to winning this fight lies in focusing solely on the Second Prince of Flowing Sands.

By ignoring the King and concentrating your efforts on taking down the Second Prince, you can end the battle quickly. You won’t have to worry about the King’s projectiles as long as you stay mobile while attacking the Second Prince.

The Second Prince utilizes a range of attacks, but most of them are slow and predictable. His primary move is a sweeping attack, which you can easily dodge and counter. After dodging, take advantage of the recovery time to unleash your own attacks. Be mindful of a more elaborate sweeping attack where he spins his weapon in a wide arc; dodging this will give you ample opportunity to retaliate with a powerful combination of attacks.

Additionally, the Second Prince may employ a thrust attack when you are at mid-range or a quick smash attack. Timing your dodges correctly is crucial, especially against the thrust attack, which can be tricky depending on the camera angle. Stay vigilant and avoid standing still to minimize the risk of taking damage from these swift attacks.

Upon defeating the King and the Second Prince of Flowing Sands, players can expect to receive a decent amount of rewards. You will earn 1102 experience points and 1026 Will, which can be utilized to upgrade your armor. In addition to experience and Will, you will also collect valuable materials:
