How to find and defeat Malugaz the Corrupt in Core Keeper

After spending several hours exploring the biomes of Core Keeper, you will eventually encounter Malugaz, the final area boss. This guide will help you locate and easily defeat him, especially considering that you are likely still early in your adventure.

How to Find and Defeat Malugaz in Core Keeper

Finding the third boss in the game is more complex compared to the first two, as he is hidden deep within a dungeon in the stone biome, where you first discover iron. This area is easily identifiable due to the unbreakable walls surrounding it.

Once you locate him, you will need to craft the Corrupted Shaman Skull using crystal skull fragments. Collect ten of these fragments, equip them, and right-click to transform them into the object needed. You will then have to place it at the ritual mark in the boss room to summon him. Be aware that you will need one of these pieces each time you die to summon him again.

Understanding Malugaz’s Attack Patterns

This boss will be tougher than the previous two, as his attacks primarily involve fire. He also has a second phase that makes him stronger and faster, enhancing all his attacks. It is advisable to be well-equipped with healing potions, solid armor, and both ranged and melee weapons to maximize your effectiveness during the fight.
