How to find and defeat Urschleim in Core Keeper

After defeating many of the bosses in Core Keeper, you will be adequately prepared to face Urschleim, one of the most challenging bosses to defeat. This challenge isn’t due to his attacks but rather the path you must traverse to eliminate him.

How to Find and Defeat Urschleim in Core Keeper

You will encounter Urschleim in the latest biome added by the developers after the 1.0 version release of Core Keeper, called “The Passage“. Here, you must search for the final upgrade material necessary to complete your game progression.

Similar to Ghrom, this boss will be roaming the map, so you must clear a path to prevent getting stuck in dead ends. Urschleim occupies the entire screen, making it nearly impossible to escape once he starts pursuing you. This is why I emphasize that he isn’t difficult due to his mechanics; rather, you need a clear enough path to defeat him.

As you can see, Urschleim has three purple eyes that you will need to strike. Once you destroy all three, the boss will become still, and a fourth eye will emerge in the middle, which you must hit continuously. Keep in mind that enemies may appear at any moment, so always prioritize eliminating them before continuing to attack the boss to avoid complications.

The armor I recommend wearing here is either the legendary set or the Solarita armor. Despite the fact that the boss won’t directly damage you, it’s always wise to carry potions and food to buff yourself, along with a set of rings, a necklace, and a secondary hand item that aids in combat.

The rewards from this boss vary based on your luck, as each item has a percentage chance of dropping. Here, I’ll list only the items that have a 100% drop rate.

You can also receive various armor pieces, an egg that you can hatch to discover a new pet, along with a commemorative figure that you can display, as well as different gems for upgrades.
