How to get bait for fishing in Throne and Liberty

In the world of Throne and Liberty, fishing goes beyond mere relaxation; it’s an essential part of your journey. To begin, you’ll need to gather some bait, which can be an adventure in itself. Here’s a detailed guide on how to find bait and the various types available.

Getting Started: Your Initial Steps

Once you reach Chapter 3, your quest for bait kicks off. Make your way to Kastleton and locate Percy. Talking to him will introduce you to a mission called “Expedition Adventures.” Completing this mission is crucial, as it rewards you with a bamboo fishing rod, necessary for your fishing activities.

Different Types of Bait

Within Throne and Liberty, you will encounter four distinct types of bait, each obtained through different means:

1. Paste Bait

This is the easiest bait to acquire. You can buy it directly from the contract coin merchant for just 20 coins. Keep in mind that you can only make this purchase once a day.

2. Warm Bait

This bait can be gathered by exploring the environment, specifically from star trees that you will come across during your adventures.

3. Fish Fillet Bait

To craft this bait, you’ll need to break down fish you have in your inventory. It’s a simple process, as long as you have some fish available.

4. Shrimp Bait

You can obtain shrimp bait by defeating specific enemies. Look out for the Hermit Lobster, Iron Chest Fish, or the Large Stone Crab, as they can drop shrimp bait when defeated.
