What is Party Level in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?

Your Party Level is distinct from individual character levels and increases only through the accumulation of Party XP. Unlike regular experience points, which are obtained through battles and boss encounters, Party XP is earned by completing specific tasks throughout the open world.

Increasing your Party Level allows you to unlock new Folios for each character. Folios are where you can spend SP to acquire new skills, including Synergy Skills, Synergy Abilities, and beneficial magic attacks that do not consume MP. These abilities become particularly important when facing bosses with specific elemental weaknesses and limited access to magic and MP restoratives.

However, story milestones are limited and may take considerable time to reach, so relying solely on this method is not advisable if you want to raise your Party Level effectively.
