How to solve the Jukebox puzzle in Silent Hill 2 Remake

In the Silent Hill 2 Remake, players will encounter various puzzles during their adventure, with one of the first being the Jukebox puzzle. This guide will provide you with step-by-step instructions to help you solve it, allowing you to continue your exploration of this haunting environment.

Locating the Jukebox

Your journey begins in South Vale, where your objective is to find the Jukebox located within the Bar Neely. After obtaining the map of the eastern area upon leaving the cemetery, make sure to interact with the Jukebox to have it marked on your map.

Upon discovering the Jukebox and taking the vinyl record, you’ll notice that the other half is missing, which you will need to find.

Finding the Missing Vinyl

After interacting with the Jukebox, your next destination will be indicated on your map as Groovy Music. The route is straightforward: walk up the street, passing by the Lucky Jade Chinese restaurant. Once you enter Groovy Music, you’ll need to break the glass door that leads into a room with a central table where the other half of the vinyl record is located.

Combining the Vinyl Pieces

Inside Groovy Music, collect both halves of the vinyl and a tube of glue. You will need to combine these items in your inventory so that the vinyl can function correctly in the Jukebox.

Finding the Missing Button

Your next task is to locate the Button necessary for operating the Jukebox. This item can be found in the apartments on Saul Street, specifically in apartment 9. When you reach the apartment, look for a hole in the bathroom wall where you can reach in to retrieve the Button.

Getting the Coin for Activation

Even though the town may seem empty, you’ll need a coin to play a song on the Jukebox. You can find this coin by opening the cash register at the Texan Café, located at the intersection of C and Lindsey. To access the coin, turn the key in the register and press the bottom right button.

Playing the Vinyl Record

Now that you have all the necessary items, head back to Bar Neely. Insert the items you’ve gathered into the Jukebox. To play the vinyl, insert the coin and first press the blue button, followed by the two button to start the music.

As a reward for your efforts, you’ll receive a key that unlocks a previously sealed door in the bar, along with additional story information.
