One of the initial challenges is the Jukebox puzzle, found in the eastern section of South Vale. This guide will assist you in navigating and solving this puzzle effectively.

Discovering the Jukebox

Your adventure begins after you receive the map of eastern South Vale upon leaving the cemetery. To find the Jukebox, make your way to Neely’s Bar. Interact with the Jukebox to mark it on your map, setting the stage for your puzzle-solving journey.

Upon finding the Jukebox and retrieving one record, you’ll notice that the other half is missing, which you will need to track down.

Tracking Down the Missing Record

After your first encounter with the Jukebox and the record, your map will point you to a new location: Groovy Music. Getting there is simple; just walk up the street past the Lucky Jade Chinese restaurant. Once you enter, you’ll need to break the glass door leading to a large area with a central table. From outside, you’ll spot the missing record waiting for you.

Combining the Record

Once inside, collect both the record and some glue. Open your inventory to combine these items, ensuring they are properly attached and ready to use. After this step, your next goal is to find the missing button that will allow you to select songs on the Jukebox.

Finding the Missing Button

The button is crucial for completing the Jukebox puzzle and moving forward in the story. You can find it in the Saul Street Apartments, specifically in apartment 9. Once you arrive, look for a hole in the bathroom wall where you can reach in and grab the button, bringing you closer to solving the puzzle.

Finding the Coin to Activate the Jukebox

Even though the town seems empty, you’ll need a coin to play a song on the Jukebox. To find this coin, head to the Texan Café, located at the corner of C/Lindsey. Inside, you’ll find the cash register on the counter. Simply turn the key found there and press the bottom right button to open it and retrieve the coin.

Final Steps to Complete the Puzzle

With all the necessary items in hand, return to Neely’s Bar. Here, you’ll place everything you’ve collected into the Jukebox. To play the record, insert the coin and select the track by pressing the blue button followed by the number two. This action should start the music and advance the game.

As a reward for your efforts, you will receive a key that unlocks a previously closed door in the bar, along with further insights into the unfolding story.
