Pokémon Go Carnival of Love Collection Challenge, field research tasks and rewards

Carnival of Love is the special Valentine’s Day event in Pokémon Go, featuring a delightful influx of pink Pokémon. This event provides players with the opportunity to engage in the Carnival of Love Collection Challenge as well as event-exclusive field research tasks.

During this exciting event, players can catch the unique Heart Pattern Spinda and obtain a Heart Trim Furfrou. It’s an ideal time for collectors to add these exclusive Pokémon to their inventory.

Upon completing the challenge, players will be rewarded with 5000 XP, 2500 Stardust, and a Roserade.

Carnival of Love Field Research Tasks

During the Carnival of Love event, players can earn exclusive field research tasks by spinning PokéStops. These tasks can be saved and completed after the event concludes, but it is advisable to finish them during the event for better rewards. Among the tasks, players can catch the exclusive Heart Pattern Spinda

  • Catch 5 Pokémon – Rewards a Snubbull or Stufful encounter
  • Catch 10 Pokémon – Rewards a Luvdisc, Furfrou, or a Sinnoh Stone

  • Earn a Candy walking with your buddy – Rewards a Roselia encounter

  • Spin 5 PokéStops or Gyms – Rewards 200 Stardust, 5 Poké Balls, or 2 Super Potions

Everything You Need to Know About the Carnival of Love

The Carnival of Love event runs until February 15th, featuring two exciting Candy XL bonuses. Players will earn two guaranteed Candy XL from evolving Pokémon and have an increased chance of receiving Candy XL while walking with their buddy.

In Brazil, players can enjoy an additional bonus of double catch XP in celebration of the Brazilian Carnaval.

Moreover, a pay-to-play timed research quest will be available during the Carnival of Love, priced at £0.99, $1, or the equivalent in the player’s region. This quest cannot be purchased with PokéCoins and must be completed before February 15th.
