In the adventure of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, players will face numerous side quests that present distinct challenges and rewards. One notable quest is “The Dead Tell Stories”, which features an engaging narrative and captivating gameplay. This guide provides a step-by-step approach to activate and complete this quest.
Activating “The Dead Tell Stories”
You can start this quest after successfully finishing “Dragon King’s Lair”. Once that mission is complete, you will see a marker in Taash’s room. Interact with the document found there to initiate “The Dead Tell Stories.”
Completing “The Dead Tell Stories”
Your journey will take you to Rivain Coast, specifically to the Faucescualo mountain. Here, you will encounter the Spirit of Adventure, who will provide guidance for the next steps. The first clue involves a giant dragon skeleton on the beach. Move toward the shoreline where the tail is, and follow the coast until you confront some skeletons. Defeat these foes and examine the skeleton in the search area, which will be propped against a rock.
The second clue is quite simple. Within the search area, head down to the river and approach the waterfall. After eliminating more skeletons, you will find another note near the lower waterfall, located just under the tree trunk that acts as a bridge.
This note will guide you back to the treasure at the initial beach. Move to the west side of the search area, where a sequence will trigger. Defeat the appearing enemies and approach the Spirit of Adventure, who will be next to an unappealing statue. Here, you will unlock a path that you may have noticed before, leading you to your well-deserved reward.
