UFL gives in in the latest patch and improves progression after criticism from players

Two weeks after the debut of UFL, a game designed to rival industry leaders, developers have recognized the need for enhancements following critical player feedback. They have admitted that various components, especially the experience system, needed substantial adjustments. This guide will highlight the changes introduced in the latest update and indicate when players can expect these improvements to take effect.

Update Notes 0.60.2 for UFL

Upon its initial release, UFL featured a progression system that many players found to be quite slow. The good news is that XTEN Limited has listened to the community’s concerns and is actively working to rectify these issues with a new update set to go live today, December 17. Players should prepare for maintenance between seven and nine in the morning.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that UFL is currently in beta. As updates are applied, players can expect new features and fixes for various minor glitches until the final version is rolled out. Here are the main changes included in update 0.60.2:

Enhancements to Player Progression

  • The experience gained per match has been boosted by around 50%.
  • The experience curve has been adjusted, significantly lowering the requirements for early levels. This adjustment allows for quicker initial advancement. However, as players near level 91, the experience requirements will gradually rise.
  • Various UI bugs have been addressed.
  • Photos for more than 150 players have been refreshed.

This update marks a positive move forward for UFL, responding to community input and improving the overall gaming experience. Players can look forward to a more gratifying progression system, enhancing their journey through the game.
